3rd Floor of the Dungeon, Saturday Morning (Fandom Time)

Senshi was whistling on his way back to his tiny shelter on the third floor. His golem vegetable gardens had given him a bumper crop, meaning plenty of fresh veggies to trade with the orcs, keep for himself, and sell up in the first floor market. Most of his produce was gone now, but he had plenty of bags and crocks of spices, seasonings, oils, and various grains to cook with to supplement the food he was able to catch and forage in the dungeon itself. And on his way through the second floor, he'd come across both a basilisk nest and some Man-Eating Plants, so now he had eggs and fruit to go along with the rest of his ingredients. He was already happily considering what he'd make for dinner with his bounty he spotted something very odd.

A door.

Of course, the dungeon was full of doors. But this door wasn't one he recognized at all. He'd lived in this dungeon for ten years and five of them on this very floor, and he would swear on his mithril cooking knife that he had never seen this door at all.

Had he been so busy dreaming up his meal plan that he'd taken a wrong turn somewhere? Seemed unlikely, but he knew he wasn't always the best at paying attention. Retracing his steps back to the nearest turn, he looked around and - yes, this was the right way. Down this corridor, take a left at the T-junction, pass the bathrooms, around the bend, and then a right at the fork and he was home.

Perhaps he was so hungry he was hallucinating? His breakfast had been on the smaller side, but it had been plenty packed with nutrients, so he doubted it was that, but what other possibility was there. A mimic, maybe?

Senshi padded back down the hallway and the door was still present.

He eyed his groceries. The smart thing to do would be to drop them off at his shelter, but he couldn't deny a bit of curiosity, too. Perhaps it led to a new section of the dungeon? That usually meant new monsters and sometimes new flora as well! New ingredients to dabble and experiment with.

Surely a small look couldn't hurt.

He peeked out the door and saw a castle in the distance. The castle for the Golden Kingdom? It didn't look the same as it did from the second floor. And the houses didn't look like any of the ones he recognized from the fifth floor. He took a step through the door, and then a second, and finally a third--only to have the door behind him close. And when he tried to open it, he found it was locked, too.

"Some kind of magic, no doubt," he said with a frown. "Well, I'll just look to see if any other adventurers have found this place yet. They'll be able to give me directions out." Helpfully, his sensitive ears picked up the sound of a crowd - time to see what was in that direction. He'd feel a bit better if he could free his axe, just in case what he heard were monsters, but there was no way he'd set down his supplies somewhere unguarded. He'd had enough of people stealing his produce from him.

[Establishy! Stuff in the castle is obviously nfb, but his arrival is fine to broadcast.]
